Meet the Pin Up professionals that are keeping the Seacoast looking stylish.
Owner + Level 3 Stylist
Since 2008, Alex has been reshaping the way people think about hair. She began her career in dynamic downtown Portland, Maine and relocated to the NH Seacoast in 2010. As a woman with curly and sometimes unruly hair, Alex understands the importance of working with natural texture and pattern to create a style that complements your unique face shape and lifestyle. The right style for you won’t just look great on the day you leave the salon but will grow out correctly so you’ll feel great every day between visits. Whether you seek to add shape to straight hair or control your curls, Alex has the tools and training. She’s skilled in classic precision cutting techniques and specializes in retexturizing hair that’s been cut against the grain for years. Alex will keep your new locks looking healthy by applying only organic colors, lighteners, and styling aids.

Level 1 Stylist
Carissa has been styling hair in the seacoast area since graduating from Empire in 2o13. Using her keen eye for detail, she provides precise cuts, specializing in men’s and military styles. Every color and cut she provides is tailored to each client to compliment their unique features and hair patterns to deliver a natural finish. Carissa will also teach you easy ways to recreate your style at home. Her goal to limit exposure to harmful toxins at home is extended into her professional life at Pin Up, as she seeks out the best organic and earth friendly products for her clients.
Level 2 Stylist
Heather has been a stylist since 2001. From the start she’s preferred more natural products and began using the organic color system in 2004. Heather is on a constant search for non-toxic, organic products (vegan and whenever possible, locally made.) She does weddings and special occasion hair–from Puerto Rico, to NYC, to Boston, to Up Maine. Heather’s philosophy is to embrace natural growth patterns, texture and client routine/style/personality to give a cut/color that suits the individual. She mixes dry and wet cutting techniques to work with a variety of textures, from fine to coarse and extremely curly.
